Steve Clausen has a broad and varied repertoire encompassing everything from traditional Irish and Australian Ballads, Standards, Country Rock, Folk, Dance and contemporary Rock and Roll.
He has an easy going nature and adapts easily to suit the client’s needs.
His background in entertainment comes from humble beginnings playing in country pubs and clubs from Quilpie to Mt Isa and just about every where in between.
He excels in special themed events such as Saint Patrick’s Day, Australia Day, Anzac Day, Australian Naturalisation ceremonies.
His diverse musical ability playing guitar, harmonica, lager phone and wobble board has had Steve play Rodeos, Camp Drafts in Queensland’s central west as well as opening days at the Ipswich Show and the Brisbane Exhibition grandstands.
Steve has played support act to James Blundell at the Longreach Hall of Fame, St Patrick’s Day weekend at The Irish Club in Mt Isa and the opening of the Qantas Museum at Longreach.
Steve has also featured in television shows such as Getaway and The Great South East and spent 2 years as the resident performer on the Queensland tourist train, “The Sunlander” entertaining visitors from all over the world.
